My son keeps telling me that I'm too interesting not to share myself with the world. I think he's a little biased. So I supposed a good place to start is with introductions and confessions. My name is Vicki and I'm a self taught foodie/restaurateur. I never went to culinary school; I've never taken a business class. Everything I learned about food, I learned at the hip of my Aunt Annie, who was something of a globetrotter. She went back to Italy several times in her life. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated with the complexities of cooking. How the science of combining ingredients can produce an artistic expression for the taste buds. When you really think about it, food is a much larger cornerstone to our lives than we realize. It can heighten the joy of a celebration; it can bring comfort during times of tragedy. Food can be so much more than a simple means of sustenance, and that is why I love what I do.
